start-up Skybus Airlines
has received final US FAA certification, clearing the way for the low-cost
carrier to launch operations.
Columbus, Ohio-based operator, which has modelled itself on Irish budget
bare-bones service model, says: “FAA certification is the final hurdle, and
having cleared it we are ready to begin serving passengers on May 22.

will begin Airbus A319 service from its base at Port Columbus International
