SkyGo Leasing closed its first transaction with the Boeing 757-200 contract for TonleSap Airlines.

The 1999-vintage aircraft, MSN 26251, joined the Cambodian carrier under a wetlease agreement with Air Baltic.

The aircraft, which is powered by RB211-535E4 engines, was leased by Air Baltic from ILFC in 2008 for a period of eight years.

TonleSap Airlines started services from its Siem Reap base with a Boeing 737-300 aircraft in January this year. At the time, UK charter provider Astraeus provided the first aircraft under a long-term contract with additional services.

The 757 will be based in Siem Reap and will mainly fly between Cambodia and Korea with some additional services to China.
