SkyTeam has appointed Michael Kimman as vice-president information technology, effective 1 April.
Kimman will monitor and execute Skyteam's IT strategies and developmental projects.
In addition, an essential element of his responsibilities will be to streamline the connectivity between all alliance members' IT platforms, reduce front-line cost and administration and speed up business changes, says Skyteam.
Currently, Kimman is working for KLM as vice-president to the chief information officer. Previously, he served the Dutch carrier in several departments, including network, cabin crew, procurement and cargo.
