Skytech-AIC has provided details on three recent transactions

The independent, UK-based aircraft lessor, marketing agent and asset manager recently closed the sale by TUI Aviation GmbH to SASOF TR44 Aviation Ireland Limited, which is managed by Apollo Aviation Management Limited, of two 1992 Boeing 747-400 aircraft with leases to Corsairfly attached and the agreement for the outright sale of a further 747-400 to SASOF to be delivered later this year.

The company also advised Titan Airways on the purchase two 2000-build Boeing 757-200s as well as assisting Lighthouse Aviation on the acquisitions of two Bombardier CRJ700s with leases attached to South African Express Airways from Maersk Group. Skytech-AIC acted as arranger to Maersk for this the 21st transaction which Skytech-AIC has completed for Maersk.

"These transactions reflect Skytech-AIC's broad experience and capabilities in aircraft marketing as well as in aircraft finance and management. We generally have a number of transactions under mandate at any one time: a few months ago we closed the sale of a Boeing 757 on behalf of Air Greenland, and the sale of a CRJ700 with lease to Alliance Air attached on behalf of Maersk," comments Richard Noble.

"We have a number of other aircraft marketing, aircraft finance and aircraft management transactions under way at present but we cannot, of course, comment on them until they are completed. We would expect to be able to make further announcements with respect to these in the near future."
