Aircraft remarketing firm SkyWorks Leasing has arranged the lease-purchase transaction of one Boeing 767-300ER aircraft to start-up SkyGreece Airlines.

Wells Fargo Bank Northwest, National Association, as owner trustee, acted on behalf of a US based investor, says SkyWorks.

According to Flightglobal’s Ascend Online database the 1992-vintage aircraft is owned by Global Principal Finance.

The 767-300ER (MSN 26470) was previously operated by Martinair Holland.

It is the first aircraft acquired by SkyGreece Airlines, who intends to commence scheduled direct services between various North American cities and Athens, Greece, in the first half of next year.
