SMBC Aviation Capital sold 17 aircraft to three different buyers since June, according to its latest market update. The operating lessor sold three Boeing 737-800s, two Airbus A321s, one A319 and 12 A320s.
It also signed lease and extension agreements on 10 aircraft with five customers during the period.
In November, SMBC Aviation Capital inked leases on one 737-800 with China Airlines and four A320s with China Eastern Airlines.
The lessor also closed the first two 737-800s under an eight aircraft sale and leaseback transaction with Gol.
In addition, SMBC Aviation Capital added three new customers during this period: Philippines' Zest Airways with one A320, Georgian Airways with one 737-700 and an A320 with Italian charter airline New Livingston.
