South Korea's Incheon International Airport (IIAC) and China's HNA Airport Group have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to increase their cooperation on airport operations and overseas development opportunities.

Officials from HNA Airport, which operates 11 airports in China, visited Incheon Airport last November to look at some of the services it offered.

"With the MoU, Incheon Airport will hand down its know-how in airport operation and share overseas development opportunities," says IIAC.

It adds that it is working more closely with foreign airports to develop additional bases and expand its overseas business.

Incheon Airport has 15 MOUs of its counterparts in Asia, Europe, North and South America, including one it recently inked with Airports of Thailand.
