South Korean low-cost carrier Jin Air plans to begin a four times weekly Seoul Incheon-Chiang Mai service on 30 October.
The airline will also double its Seoul Incheon-Guam and Seoul Incheon-Bangkok services to twice daily, it says.
Flightglobal’s FlightMaps Analytics show that Jin Air will compete with parent Korean Air on the Seoul Incheon-Chiang Mai route. It also competes with Jeju Air on routes from Seoul Incheon to Guam and Bangkok.
Data from Flightglobal Pro shows that Jin Air operates eight Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
