Southwest Airlines has opened new flight attendant and pilot crew bases at Denver International Airport, as well as a line maintenance operation.

Denver will be the ninth domicile location for Southwest, serving as a base for more than 400 pilots and 400 flight attendants. The airline also has domicile locations in Baltimore/Washington, Chicago Midway, Dallas Houston, Phoenix, Oakland, Orlando and Las Vegas.

Southwest's new line maintenance station in Denver is staffed by six employees and started operations today. This marks the first time that the airline has had a maintenance presence at the airport.
