Spirit Airlines will begin non-stop flights to Myrtle Beach from Baltimore/Washington International airport and Philadelphia from 25 April.
The Fort Lauderdale-based carrier will operate daily on each route.
"We're excited to even further expand our network of destinations to and from Myrtle Beach. Spirit carries more visitors to Myrtle Beach than any other airline, operating exclusively with large Airbus A319 and A320 jets with 145-178 seats each," says Mark Kopczak, Spirit's senior director of network planning.
Spirit already operates daily non-stop from Myrtle Beach to Atlantic City, Boston, Fort Lauderdale and New York LaGuardia. Later this year, it will launch several new seasonal routes to Myrtle Beach, including Chicago O'Hare and Detroit.
No carrier operates non-stop currently on the two new Myrtle Beach routes, schedules in Innovata show.
