ST Aerospace has been awarded two maintenance contracts by South Korean low-cost carrier T'Way Air.

The first is a maintenance-by-the-hour component support contract for the airline's Boeing 737-800 aircraft, and the other is an engine maintenance programme for the CFM56-7B engines.

The total value of both contracts is S$85 million ($63.6 million), says ST Aerospace. Both the deals are effective immediately and will stretch over 10 years, it adds.

T'Way Air is based at Seoul's Gimpo International Airport.
