Sunrise to launch Haiti-Cuba flights

Sunrise Airways has received approval to begin regular charter flights between Port-au-Prince and Holguin, Cuba, from the fourth quarter.

The Haiti-based carrier plans twice-weekly flights on a 19-seat BAE Systems Jetstream 32, says Sunrise. Tickets will initially be sold only on an air and hotel basis through Sirep Tours in Haiti and Cubatur in Cuba.

Haiti’s Civil Aviation Authority and the Instituto de Aeronáutica Civil de Cuba (IACC) have approved the flights.
