TAAG Angola Airlines is to launch a new route between the Angolan capital of Luanda and Sao Paulo in Brazil.

The Angolan national carrier says it will begin services in April, offering twice-weekly flights using its Boeing 747-300 combi aircraft.

Passengers will be able to connect to TAAG's African network and its flight to Dubai.

TAAG recently increased its Rio de Janeiro frequencies to five per week, saying that demand was growing to a point where Sao Paulo traffic needed to be decoupled from its Rio service.
