“We are very delighted to have chosen TAECO as our freighter conversion service provider. Boeing 757-200PCF is a new freighter type in our fleet. The on-time redelivery of this new freighter is very important for Air China Cargo, demonstrating a real sense of commitment to enter into service for its charter customer,” says Air China Cargo’s vice-president for corporate development Wang Jun.
The aircraft (MSN 29793) bears registration B-2856. Flightglobal’s Ascend Online Fleets database shows that the 1998 vintage aircraft was first delivered to China Southwest Airlines, before it was transferred to Air China Cargo in July 2013. Air China owns and manages the aircraft.
