Tailwind Capital has sold seven aircraft to an undisclosed buyer as part of its exclusive remarketing mandate for Goldman Sachs.

The transaction included five Bombardier CRJ200LRs operated by Atlantic Southeast Airlines and two Boeing 737-400s currently on lease to Alaska Airlines.

These aircraft were originally acquired by Goldman Sachs as part of a larger portfolio purchase.

“Tailwind has a deep understanding of both mainline and regional aircraft markets and a global network of investors and operators, and we look forward to our continued collaboration with Goldman as we work to place the remaining aircraft in this portfolio,” says Tailwind Capital’s president Joel Hussey.
