Taiwan's China Airlines plans to launch nonstop Taipei-Honolulu flights on 2 June.
The airline - which already operates a seven-times-weekly service to the Hawaiian state capital via Tokyo - will operate the new, twice-weekly service using an Airbus A330.
Innovata schedules show that the carrier will be the only operator on the Taipei-Honolulu route.
The carrier is also increasing the frequency of its Taipei-Kuala Lumpur service, from seven per week to 10. Frequency on the Taipei-Fukuoka route is rising to 14 per week, from 11, and on Taipei-Nanchang, an extra weekly frequency is bringing the total to three.
