Taiwan’s China Airlines passenger traffic up 4% in July

Taiwan's China Airlines (CAL) reported a 4.1% year-on-year increase in passenger traffic, as measured in RPKs, for July.

The carrier's overall capacity, as measured in ASKs, rose by 5% for the month.

The airline's passenger load factor decreased 0.8 percentage points to 80.6%.

On the cargo front, CAL's revenue freight tonne kilometres declined 3.6%, and capacity, as measured in available freight tonne kilometres, fell by 1.3%.

The cargo load factor for the month dropped 1.6 percentage points to 70.9%.
