Taiwan's China Airlines has reported a 5.3% year-on-year increase in its passenger traffic, as measured in RPKs, for April.
The carrier's overall capacity, as measured in ASKs, rose by 4.5% during the month.
The airline's passenger load factor increased by 0.6 percentage points to 77.2%, says China Airlines.
On the cargo front, its revenue freight tonne kilometres declined by 11.4%, and capacity, as measured in available tonne kilometres, fell by 10.5%.
The cargo load factor for the month dropped by 0.7 percentage points to 70.2%.
