Taiwan's China Airlines (CAL) has reported a 7.5% year-on-year decline in its passenger traffic, as measured in RPKs, for January.
The carrier's overall capacity, as measured in ASKs, fell by 4.2% during the month.
The airline's passenger load factor decreased by 2.7 percentage points to 74.2%, says CAL.
On the cargo front, its revenue freight tonne kilometres declined by 11.5%, and capacity, as measured in available tonne kilometres, fell by 17%.
The cargo load factor for the month grew by 4.3 percentage points to 68.5%.
