Taiwan's Evergreen Aviation Technologies (EGAT) has secured an agreement with Air Atlanta Icelandic to do heavy checks on Boeing 747-400s.
EGAT says it has inked a five-year agreement that includes 747-400 airframe heavy maintenance checks.
"Air Atlanta Icelandic's first aircraft will be inducted at EGAT's facility in mid-2010 for both heavy maintenance visit services and structural repair and airframe skin replacements," it adds.
