Germany's Lufthansa Cargo and Taiwanese maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) firm Evergreen Aviation Technologies (EGAT) have signed airframe heavy maintenance visit contracts for the carrier's MD-11F fleet.
The contracts cover the MD-11 fleet from 2010 to 2012, says EGAT. Lufthansa Cargo has used EGAT in the past for MD-11 heavy maintenance.
According to Flight's ACAS database, Lufthansa Cargo operates 17 MD-11Fs.
