TD Bank of New Jersey has closed financing on a new Boeing 777 delivery for Asiana Airlines.

The South Korean carrier Asiana Airlines mandated the US bank in April this year as guaranteed lender, for its $130 million US Export Import Bank (Ex-Im) financing request with a 12-year term.

The 777-200ER aircraft (MSN 40199) is equipped with Pratt & Whitney PW4090 engines. It was delivered on 26 July.

Ascend says Asiana will take two new Airbus A321s under operating leases with BOC Aviation this year, while a third aircraft of the type will be leased from ICBC Leasing.

It will also lease a new A330-300 from Intrepid Aviation in April 2014.
