US Airways cancelled 10 Airbus A330-200s in December while Spain's Grupo Marsans also shed six of the type from Airbus' order books.

The airframer's latest order and delivery figures, covering the whole of 2010, show that Airbus recorded 18 cancellations of A330-200s last month.

US Airways had listed 25 on Airbus' books in November but this figure was reduced to 15 in December.

Grupo Marsans' order was cut from 10 A330-200s to four.

The remaining change came from Aircraft Purchase Fleet which reduced its order for the type from 10 to eight.

Airbus' overall orders for the A330-200 stood at 556 at the end of 2010. None of its other aircraft families recorded net cancellations during December.
