UK engine-support specialist TES Aviation Group has partnered with Irish MRO provider Eirtech Aviation to pool fleet technical management capabilities.
Both companies want to jointly serve customers under Eirtech’s continuing airworthiness management organisation (CAMO) approval.
While TES has extensive experience in monitoring engines and managing their maintenance, the Bridgend-based company is unable to gain full CAMO approval without the necessary airframe engineering capabilities under current regulations, says engineering services manager Phillip Grant.
Partnership with Eirtech should allow TES to broaden its market reach, he says.
The two companies want to provide aircraft induction support, technical records management, maintenance planning, airworthiness data reviews, engine health monitoring assessments and recommendations, reliability monitoring and maintenance programme control services.
The partnership is to be expanded in future, says Emmet Fleming, Eirtech’s continuing airworthiness manager.
