The vertical fin of a parked Air France Regional Embraer ERJ-135 (F-GPJC) was sliced off by the wing of a taxiing Thai Airways International Boeing 747-400 at Madrid last month. Thai says repair work to the winglet on the 747-400 (HS-TGY) involved in the 15 July incident was completed in time for the aircraft to depart the following day for Bangkok.
