Thai Airways International passenger traffic up 4.1% in September

Thai Airways International's passenger traffic, as measured in RPKs, increased by 4.1% year on year in September.

Its capacity, as measured in ASKs, rose by 1.5%, while total passenger numbers grew by 6.5% to 1.58 million.

The carrier's load factor grew by 2.5 percentage points to 71.7% from the same month a year ago.

Cargo traffic, as measured in revenue freight tonne kilometres, increased by 4.1% against a 5.8% rise in capacity. The carrier's cargo load factor was at 55.3%, down by 1.6 percentage points from the corresponding month last year.
