Thai Airways International traffic up 0.8% in July

Thai Airways International's passenger traffic for July, as measured in RPKs, increased by 0.8% year on year.

Capacity, as measured in ASKs, fell by 2.4%, while total passenger numbers grew by 4.4% to 1.74 million.

Passenger load factor grew by 2.5 percentage points to 79.7% from the same month a year ago.

Cargo traffic, as measured in revenue freight tonne kilometres, declined by 5.6% against a 0.4% fall in capacity, as measured in available dead tonne kilometres. The cargo load factor was at 52.2%, a drop of 2.9 percentage points, compared with the corresponding month last year.
