Thai Airways International's passenger traffic, as measured in RPKs, increased by 12.4% year on year in May.
Capacity, as measured in ASKs, fell by 2.7%, while total passenger numbers grew by 17.6% to 1.59 million.
Cabin factor in May grew by 15.6 percentage points to 71.5% in the same month a year ago.
Cargo traffic, as measured in revenue freight tonne kilometres, declined by 9.1% against a 6% fall in capacity, as measured in available dead tonne kilometres. The cargo load factor was 55.9%, down by 3.3 percentage points in the corresponding month last year.
