Thai Airways passenger traffic up 3% in June

Thai Airways International's passenger traffic, as measured in RPKs, increased by 2.9% year on year in June.

Its capacity, as measured in ASKs, rose by 12% for the month, while its total passenger numbers rose by 4.4% to 1.65 million.

The carrier's passenger load factor fell by 8.3 percentage points to 69.2%.

Thai Smile recorded international and domestic load factors of 70.9% and 61.9% respectively.

Thai Airways' cargo traffic, as measured in revenue freight tonne kilometres, decreased by 6.5%, while capacity, as measured in available dead tonne kilometres, rose by 0.6% and cargo load factor dropped by 7.1 percentage points year on year to 50.3%.
