Thai Airways passenger traffic up 5.4% in February

Thai Airways International's passenger traffic as measured in RPKs increased by 5.4% year on year in February.

Its capacity, as measured in ASKs, rose by 3.6% for the month, and total passenger numbers went up by 8.5% to 1.79 million.

The carrier's overall load factor grew by 1.4 percentage points year on year to 80.4%.

Thai Smile recorded an overall load factor of 81.8%, with international and domestic load factors at 78.7% and 82.9% respectively.

Thai Airways's cargo traffic, as measured in RFTKs, decreased by 4.7% against a 0.5% rise in capacity measured in ADTKs.

The carrier's cargo load factor for the month fell by 2.7 percentage points year on year to 51.4%.
