Thai Airways International's passenger traffic was virtually flat in September, with RPKs growing by a marginal 0.7% from a year before.
Capacity, as measured in ASKs, grew by 5%, said the Star Alliance carrier. The load factor for September 2011 averaged 70.1%, 4.1% lower than in September 2010.
Revenue freight tonne kilometres fell by 8.2% in September. Cargo capacity, as measured in available dead load tonne kilometres, increased by 0.8%. The freight load factor averaged at 56.6%, down by 9%, the carrier added.
