Thai Airways International will be codesharing on three domestic routes that it has transferred to its low-cost carrier Nok Air.

From 1 March, Thai will place its code on the Chiang Mai-Mae Hong Son, Bangkok Don Mueang-Phitsanulok and Bangkok Don Mueang-Ubon Ratchathani routes, says Thai.

Last December Thai announced that it is transferring the loss-making routes to Nok Air to cut costs.

All three routes will be served 14 times a week, says Thai. The Chiang Mai-Mae Hong Son service will use an ATR 72, and the other two routes will use Boeing 737-400s, adds the carrier.
