Thailand has requested four additional Sikorsky UH-60M Black Hawk utility helicopters from the USA, in a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) mechanism deal worth $235 million.

The package would include four helicopters, 10 General Electric T700-701D engines (eight installed and two spares), and other support and equipment related to the aircraft, the US Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) says in a statement.

The potential deal would follow Thailand's 12 July signature of a letter of acceptance for two UH-60Ms under another FMS sale.
