Thales delivers IFEC system to Asian carriers

Air China and Japan Airlines (JAL) have taken delivery of their first aircraft to be equipped with Thales TopSeries in-flight entertainment and connectivity (IFEC) systems.

Air China has introduced into service the a Boeing 777-300ER, equipped with the Thales IFEC system. JAL, meanwhile has taken delivery of a Boeing 767-300ER.

The Thales TopSeries system will enable passengers to access a wide range of audio and video on-demand entertainment and information using 23in (58.4cm), 15.4in and 8.9in touch screen displays.
