25 YEARS OF OPERATION
SHUTTLE MISSIONS
Upper section - another upper section of the fuselage is hoisted into position for Columbia.
Rear - Columbia's superstructure is largely completed and awaits its electrical and propulsion systems
Nosecap - the Shuttle's carbon carbon nosecap sits waiting to be fixed to the superstructure.
Tiles - methodically tiles are attached to Columbia's aluminium superstructure and its name can just be made out.
Tail fin - the tail fin is moved into position still in its green primer state, along with the rest of Columbia.
Tail fin2 - is fitted with tiles.
Cargo bay door - One of the Shuttle's two cargo bay doors is fitted.
