TUI Travel subsidiary Thomson Airways is to add a total of 29 new routes from UK regional airports as part of its schedule for next year’s summer season.
Among the new routes are services from Birmingham airport to Agadir in Morocco, Chania in Greece, Djerba in Tunisia, the Cape Verdean island of Sal and Portugal’s Porto Santo island.
Bristol will be linked with Santorini in Greece, Pula and Dubrovnik in Croatia, and Marrakech in Morocco.
A route from Cardiff to Antalya in Turkey is to be relaunched, while Humberside will be connected with Palma de Mallora.
Alghero in Italy, Split in Croatia and the Spanish island of La Palma are to be served from Manchester, and another Spanish destination, Mahon, will be linked with Norwich.
Scotland will gain new services from Glasgow to Dubrovnik and Marrakech; Edinburgh to Antalya and the Greek island of Rhodes; and Aberdeen to Faro in Portugal.
