Low-cost carrier Tiger Airways plans to launch a non-stop service between Singapore and Cebu from 6 September.
The carrier will operate four times weekly on the route initially and increase this to a daily flight in October, it said.
Cebu is the airline's second destination in the Philippines after Manila. Tiger operates to both Ninoy Aquino and Clark airport in the capital city.
Tiger will compete against SilkAir, Cebu Pacific and Airphil Express on the Singapore-Cebu route, schedules in Innovata show.
