The Greater Toronto Airports Authority has signed a $130 million, five-year deal with IBM to provide technology services that support kiosks, passenger and bag check-in counters and manage aircraft gates for the 60 airlines that use Toronto Pearson International Airport.

The airport has 30.4 million passengers annually.

GTAA says the IBM transportation solution should yield greater efficiencies and lower fees for airlines.
