Traffic at Portuguese airports down 0.5% in February

Passenger numbers at Portugal's airports fell 0.5% year-on-year in February despite low-cost carriers growing by 1.9%, airport authority ANA says.

Madeira airport grew by 6%, while Lisbon airport saw a 1.4% increase in passenger numbers. Traffic at Azores, Porto and Faro airports declined by 7.5%, 6.8% and 0.1% respectively.

TAP Portugal, EasyJet and Ryanair accounted for 71.8% of all passengers flying through ANA airports in February, the authority says.
