Transaero has launched a weekly cargo service between Moscow and London Stansted.

Innovata schedules show the Russian carrier to be sole operator on the route.

Stansted is also served with cargo flights by Asiana, British Airways World Cargo, Cargolux, FedEx, Global Supply Systems, Martinair, Royal Mail, Panalpina, Titan, TNT and UPS.

Transaero is the first airline to add freight services to Stansted since the facility was acquired by Manchester Airports Group earlier this year. "We are certain it will not be the last," says MAG's cargo business development manager Conan Busby.
