Transaero to add Dubai as a destination

Russia's Transaero Airlines will launch services from Moscow to Dubai on 20 September.

Transaero is to serve the UAE destination with six flights per week each from Vnukovo and Domodedovo airports. The Vnukovo-Dubai service will start on 20 September, and flights from Domodedovo will start on 27 October.

Boeing 737-800s and 767s will be deployed on the Vnukovo-Dubai route, while the Domodedovo-Dubai route will be operated with 737-800s and 747-400s.

Innovata schedules show Emirates and SriLankan Airlines to be competitors between the Russian capital and Dubai.
