Air France's low-cost subsidiary Transavia France has launched two weekly flights between Berlin Tegel and Nantes.

The route will be flown by Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

Transavia France will have expanded its fleet of eight 737-800s to include another four of the type by summer 2013, with a further two aircraft due to arrive in the summer of 2014.

Transavia is also studying the possibility of providing connectivity to the long-haul services of mainline carriers Air France and KLM.
