Triumph acquires cabin repair specialist ANS

Pennsylvania-based Triumph Group has acquired aircraft interiors refurbishment specialist Aviation Network Services.

Triumph said the business will become part of its Triumph Interiors operation, and will add $3 million of revenue for the remaining five months of the 2011-12 fiscal year.

The group has not disclosed terms of the acquisition.

Aviation Network Services is sited in Atlanta and has some 60 staff. It mainly repairs and refurbishes passenger service units and other interior products.

It lists customers including United Airlines, Delta Air Lines and Air Canada.
