Tunisian flag-carrier Tunisair has formally put eight aircraft up for sale, and is inviting submissions of interest before the end of April.

The aircraft include three Airbus A300-600s - serial numbers 505, 558 and 563 - as well as four Boeing 737-500s bearing numbers 26639, 26640, 27257 and 27912.

All the A300s are General Electric CF6-powered airframes, and 23-25 years old, while the 737s are aged 18-21.

Tunisair's tender notification also include a single ATR 42-300, serial number 245, which is being sold with a stock of spare parts, cargo kit and tools.

"This is an excellent opportunity to acquire these aircraft," says the airline, stating that the closing date for the tender call is 29 April.
