Danu Oro Transportas purchases ATR42-500s

Danu Oro Transportas acquired an ATR42-500 (445, 515) aircraft with PW127E engines from ATR Asset Management. Both 1997-vintage aircraft were previously operated by Kingfisher Airlines. Both aircraft were previously under an ACMI contract with Belize-based Maya Island Air since June 2009.

Aer Arann agreed to lease three ATR72-210 (387, 405, 413) aircraft with PW127 engines from Air Contractors. The 1994-vintage aircraft were acquired by Air Contractors last year from Delta Airlines. The three aircraft were last operated by Atlantic Southeast Airlines.

Nordic Aviation Capital A/S purchased three new ATR72-500s from TRIP Linhas Aéreas through a sale and leaseback agreement. The three aircraft, MSN 785, 846, 891, were delivered to Trip Linhas Aéreas last week and are new.

Regional One
leased an ATP E-Class freighter (2052) aircraft with PW126 engines from BAE Systems Asset Management. The 1992-vintage aircraft was last operated as a passenger aircraft by Air Europa Express.

Swiftair secured a contract with the United Nations for the operations of two ATR72-200s. The Spanish carrier is operating an ATR72-210 (446) aircraft with PW127 engines. The 1995-vintage aircraft was acquired from Eurowings in 2005. Swiftair is also operating an ATR72-200 (234) aircraft with PW124B engines. The 1991-vintage ex-Air Atlantique aircraft was acquired in 2004.

Trip Linhas Aereas leased two ATR 42-500s (503/510) aircraft with PW127E engines from ATRiam Capital. The 1996-vintage aircraft were previously operated by Kingfisher Airlines.
