Silver Airways adds three Saab 340Bs

Silver Airways is to complete the purchase of a first batch of Saab 340B plus aircraft from Saab Aircraft Leasing.

The Florida-based regional carrier agreed to buy three aircraft (445, 446, 448) with CT7-9B engines from the lessor. The 1998-vintage aircraft was last operated by Mesaba Airlines.

Silver Airways recently announced plans to acquire six additional Saab 340B plus aircraft from Saab Aircraft Leasing. The purchase will bring Silver's fleet of Saab 340s to 12 by September.

Alandia Air purchased one Saab 340B (248) aircraft with CT7-9B engines from Saab Aircraft Leasing. The 1991-vintage aircraft was last operated by Western Air.

NextJet agreed to lease a BAE Systems ATP (2031) aircraft with PW126 engines from European Turboprop Management AB. The 1990-vintage aircraft was previously operated by West Air Europe.

OLT Regional Express agreed to lease an ATR 42-300 (080) aircraft with PW120 engines from Nordic Aviation Capital. The 1988-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Airlinair.
