Gulfstream International Airlines buys Saab340B+
Gulfstream International Airlines has reached an agreement with Saab Aircraft Leasing to purchase six Saab 340Bplus aircraft as it embarks on a fleet renewal by replacing smaller, 19-seat Beechcraft 1900D aircraft.
The Fort Lauderdale-based airline will integrate the six Saab 340Bplus' into its fleet over a nine-month period beginning in mid-November 2011 when the first 340Bplus is slated for delivery.
Compagnie Africaine d'Aviation leased a Fokker F50 (20176) aircraft with PW125B engines from Nordic Aviation Capital. The 1990-vintage aircraft was previously operated by SAS Norge.
Happy Air Travellers leased a Saab 340B (255) aircraft with CT7-9B engines. The 1991-vintage aircraft, which was recently acquired from Saab Aircraft Leasing, was previously operated by Aeromexico Connect.
Nok Mini leased a Saab 340Bplus (426) aircraft with CT7-9B engines from Saab Aircraft Leasing. The 1997-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Mesaba Airlines.
Solanair leased a Saab 340A (115) aircraft with CT7-5A2 engines from Alandia Air. The 1988-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Happy Air Travellers.
