Turkish regional carrier Borajet plans to add another ATR 72-500 to its fleet.
"At the moment we have four ATR 72-500 in the fleet. In December, we will add one more," said Borajet general manager Kadir Peker.
According to new Turkish Civil Aviation Authority rules, an airline operating scheduled services must have a minimum of five aircraft in its fleet.
Borajet is also looking to add more ATRs in the future.
Separately, Borajet has entered into a codesharing agreement with Turkish Airlines low-cost subsidiary Anadolu Jet.
Under the agreement, Borajet will offer connections from Anadolu's Ankara Esenboga base to Balikesir, Korfez, Bursa, Canakkale, Gazipasa, Kahramanmaras, Kayseri, Siirt, Tekirdag and Tokat.
It will also offer connections from Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen to Balikesir, Canakkale, Isparta, Usak and Zonguldak.
