Turkish ground handling company Celebi is in talks to acquire a 49% stake in Dusseldorf International Airport's operator Flughafen Dusseldorf.
"We have started talking to take a 49% share of Flughafen Dusseldorf. We are looking at new and interesting markets in Europe," says Celebi Air Services general manager Talha Goksel.
Celebi has also invested €4 million ($5.2 million) in a new warehouse at Frankfurt Airport.
"We opened the warehouse on 10 January and our first customer is United Airlines. We are aiming to increase capacity," says Goksel.
