Turkish Airlines is negotiating a possible takeover of Gore Design Completions, according to a statement issued to the Istanbul Stock Exchange on 3 April.

The Texas-based company has 25 years of experience in converting widebody aircraft into business jets. This includes modifying an Airbus A330-200 Prestige (TC-TUR) for the Turkish government.

According to the Turkish flag carrier's filing to the stock exchange, MRO subsidiary Turkish Technic has signed an LOI with Gore Design expressing interest in a future partnership.

Earlier this year, Turkish Technic started talks about a possible acquisition of Istanbul-based MNG Technic - the second largest MRO company in Turkey, after Turkish Technic.
